Youth soccer is open to youth players aged 9 – 18. There is no requirement to have any previous skills or experience with soccer. Recreation youth soccer is primarily focused on ensuring players have fun and are being active while developing basic soccer skills. Youth soccer is licensed and sanctioned by the Manitoba Soccer Association (MSA).

The outdoor season runs from the beginning of May through the end of June.
The games for the outdoor season vary depending on the age group.
- Even numbered ages (U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18) typically play on Mondays, Wednesdays and/or Fridays
- Odd numbered ages (U9, U11, U13, U15 and U17) typically play on Tuesdays, Thursdays and/or Sundays.
Youth soccer cannot function without dedicated, enthusiastic and energetic volunteer coaches to foster a safe, inclusive, positive and fun environment for the children of our communities, and ensure they have an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
If you’ve coached before and plan to do so again, thank you! If you haven’t coached before, we encourage you to consider doing so. We have workshops and resources available to help you get started and become a confident and capable coach. To learn more about coaching at your child’s age level (e.g. requirements, commitment, etc.) please reach out to youthsoccer@riverviewcc.ca or gm@riverviewcc.ca. When you register, please indicate your willingness to serve as a Coach or Assistant Coach with your child’s team.
Does your child have a friend in the community who doesn’t currently play soccer, but may want to? Maybe they’re not sure where to start, or maybe they’ve never been asked before? Registration Details
Our registration fees for the 2024 recreational outdoor soccer season are as follows:
- U9/10/11/12$190 plus $50 (MSA) = $240 (paid by families)
- U13/14$220 plus $50 (MSA) = $270(paid by families)
- U15/16/17/18$230 plus $50 (MSA) = $280 (paid by families)
