Baseball (A Level)

Our Baseball program is open to players aged 5 – 18. There is no requirement to have any previous skills or experience with baseball. This is a recreation program primarily focused on ensuring players have fun and are being active while developing basic skills. We are part of the Winnipeg South Minor Baseball Association and Baseball Manitoba.

Registration for 2026 opens Feb. 15

Registration closes April 6

Players supply their own helmets and gloves, bringing their own bat is optional. At 11U and higher, cleats are recommended.

Games begin the first week of May and we usually try to get a week of practices in first, depending on when the fields dry up.

** NOTE – If you are registering as a Coach or Manager – Please check the Certification and Screening requirements on the Baseball MB website before you register – https://www.baseballmanitoba.ca/content/Coaching-Requirements

ALL Coaches and Managers require the “Rule of Two” (see Screening Requirements on website for link to The Locker).  If you already have an NCCP number log in to The Locker using it.  If you don’t, create a new account.  Completing the Rule of Two will give you an NCCP number for your registration.

Please make sure you have your NCCP number and Respect in Sport number before registering.  With everyone having to complete the Rule of Two and receiving and NCCP number, generic NCCP numbers will no longer be accepted.

To find your NCCP number – https://thelocker.coach.ca/account/login?mode=login

To find you Respect in Sport number – https://sportmanitoba.respectgroupinc.com/koala_final/

You will be required to answer three Screening Disclosure questions on the Waivers page when registering.  If you answer yes to any of the three questions you will be required to submit a completed Screening Disclosure Form as part of your registration.
