Wednesday 9:30-11:30am
Fall Session starting Oct. 29
6 week session $20
The passing of a loved one whether sudden or expected is deeply impactful, unique and personal. Our journey may be lightened when our grief is witnessed and shared.
In this 6-week facilitated workshop we will gather with others who have lost a loved one to explore our experience including:
- Finding meaning
- Appreciating our grief journey
- Attending to our needs
- Telling our stories
- Keeping our loved ones close
- Living with pain and love
The workshop is offered to South Osborne residents experiencing grief associated with the death of a loved one. It is recommended at least one year has elapsed since your loss.
The workshop will be facilitated by Susan Roth, R.S.W. Registered Social Worker, experienced in workshop development and facilitation. She will guide the group using questions, discussions and activities.
In my career and personal life, I have come to embrace that loss and grief are inevitable. As a partially retired volunteer in our community I welcome the opportunity to join with others around this important experience.
