Intro and Advanced:
Jackrabbits hockey is a great way to introduce your child to the ice in a fun and engaging way! Our volunteer coaches will teach the basics of skating through simple hockey themed exercises and lessons. Parents are encouraged to participate on the ice with your little ones.
Original (Introductory)
- Classes: Monday at 6:00 PM and Saturdays at 11:00 AM, 45-60 minutes each
- Start & end dates depend on the weather and ice conditions
- Ages: 3-8 (Parents encouraged to be on the ice with all skaters aged 3-5). Do you have a child who’s older than 8 but you think would benefit from these practices? Email us!
- Cost is $75/child.
Advanced
- Classes: Monday at 7:15 PM and Saturdays at 10:00 AM, 45-60 minutes each
- Start & end dates depend on the weather and ice conditions
- Geared towards children who have participated in the Jackrabbits Hockey program in the past and are looking for more challenging drills and addtional scrimmage opportunities.
All Sessions
All you need are skates, a stick and a helmet (full cage/visor). Knee pads, elbow pads, and hockey gloves are strongly encouraged. Come try the first lesson for free, meet the coach and see if it’s right for your child!
- You do not need to attend both classes to be able to register, though there is only one registration fee.
- Registration will open Monday, October 16th.
