Threads of Identity: The Storymaker Studio
What makes you who you are? It could be your family, culture, interests, experiences, favourite places, the things you care about, or your dreams for the future.
In this ten-week program, young people will explore those different parts of themselves while trying several fun and creative ways to tell stories. They’ll have the chance to experiment with writing, photography, drawing, comics, collage, video, and animation before choosing an idea that matters to them and turning it into a project of their own.
No previous writing, art, or filmmaking experience is needed.
The Storymaker Studio is led by award-winning journalist and filmmaker Joanne Roberts.
